Creating a New Dashboard
- From Rayven Manager, select 'Dashboards' and then 'Create a dashboard'.
- Enter a Name for your dashboard. Choose something simple that clearly explains its purpose. This name can be changed at any time.
- Select a Dashboard Navigation Type:
- Permanent: The dashboard will always be accessible, via a row of tabs at the top of the solution interface.
- Drill-down: The dashboard will not be accessible at the top of the solution interface. Instead, you must click on a specific element for the dashboard to be accessible. For example, clicking a value in a table or an icon on a map to open the new dashboard.
- Select a Dashboard Data Type:
- Real-time & Insights: Widgets will display the most recent data. Charts will display time-series data up to the most recent data received.
- Historical & Reporting: The dashboard will contain a drop-down menu and the user must select a specific historical time-period for display. Once selected, this time period will be applied to all widgets on the dashboard and the data displayed will be recalculated. Note that some widgets can only display real-time data, such as maps and monitors. For these widgets, you will not be able to select a historical dashboard data type. The available options are:
- Last 12 hours,
- Last 24 hours,
- Last 48 hours,
- Last 7 days,
- Last 28 days,
- Last 90 days,
- Custom time period.
- Select the Widgets you want to display on your dashboard. These widgets are organised by workflow.
- Select any Custom Tables you want to appear on your dashboard.
- Click 'Save' to finish setting up your new dashboard.
