        An Overview of Reports

        Reports allow you to dispatch scheduled accounts of data via email.

        Your solution must contain at least one 'Historical and Reporting' dashboard or 'API Output' workflow node before you can generate an email report. Using a Historical and Reporting dashboard allows you to select which widgets should appear in the email body. Alternatively, an API Output node can generate a CSV or TXT file with the requested historical data.

        You can customize various aspects of the report:

        • Schedule - select the date and time of the first report and how often to dispatch subsequent reports,
        • Data - select the amount of historical data the report should contain (in days, weeks, or months),
        • Addresser - customize who the report comes from, including the email address (The default sender is info@rayven.io),
        • Recipients - select which users in the solution will receive the report,
        • Attachments - attach a CSV or TXT file containing data from an API Output node,
        • Widgets - add images of your widgets to the email body,
        • Email customization - edit the text of the email body.
