        Dashboard Users Overview

You must create Dashboard Users to access the live dashboard. You can create Dashboard User credentials in Rayven Workspace. Log in with your Workspace User credentials to set up your first Dashboard Users: see Section 4.2: Workspace Users for more information.

Once you have created your Dashboard User, access your dashboard by logging into Rayven Live at https://live.rayven.io.

        User Permissions

You can assign different permission levels to your Dashboard Users. Permissions determine user access levels and range from view-only to the ability to arrange dashboard widgets and enter table data. A detailed breakdown of Dashboard User permissions is outlined in Section 3.5.2: Adding a New Dashboard User.

        User Groups

Each Dashboard User exists within a User Group. User Groups provide appropriate dashboard access for each user. Creating User Groups allows you to configure a comprehensive solution and variously slice and dice the data, ensuring each user sees applicable outputs.

For example, your solution could have the following user groups:

        • Admin,
        • Operations.

A senior team member who required access to all solution dashboards would be added to the Admin user group. You could add an Operations team member who only needed access to dashboards displaying the data for specific device groups to a user group with restricted permissions. This user's dashboard credentials would produce a different front-end view on login compared to the dashboard user in the Admin group.
